May 23 Benefit at Black Cat for Crest View Garden to Table Program at Just south of the Pearl Street Mall, Boulder

Chef Eric Skokan of Black Cat will be donating 25 percent of the proceeds of a dinner on Saturday, May 23 (Memorial Day weekend) to Crest View's Garden to Table program. Please make a reservation now to join us in supporting Crest View kids' new Garden to Table program, where they they are getting hands-on lessons about growing and eating their own food. We hope you can be there to raise your glass and toast Crest View at 6 pm.

Lowe's grants

 A neighbor of mine who is quite involved at Whittier said they got a $5K grant from Lowe's -- through the grant program whose deadline I think we just missed for this year. But we should definitely apply next year!
